The weird thing about money is that different things are worth different amounts to different people.

To put it another way, it's 8 months or so of World of Warcraft subs. Now that seems like a far worse deal to me.

I've been on LJ for over 6 years, and don't see myself quitting. It saves me money in the long term, and more importantly hassle. I won't say it's easy for me to pay so much and it wasn't an easy decision. But for me, it seems worth it.

Oh, and it really doesn't make me any cooler than I was.
