The Joy of Text

Recently I've been writing a fair bit of fic for one of the roleplaying systems I play. It's also been a good year for my writing in that I won a rather impressive writing competition too. It's reminded me of how much I love to write, and also of why I don't really succeed in writing longer stuff. I have 20,000 words of a novel written, but it petered off because I simply can't write in a vacuum.

I'd like to have another go at finishing the novel, but in truth, without criticism and encouragement, I'm not going to make it happen. I'm thinking about creating an LJ to post to. There's likely to be a thousand words a day maximum. Would any of you dear readers be interested in helping me along by reading and criticising as I go?
