Amazon get it

So doubtless some of my friends still regard Amazon as the epitomy of all evil. But their MP3 store is now open. And albums start at £3. That's impulse purchase territory. I'm far more likely to buy five £3 albums than one £15 album. (I just bought "Who Killed Amanda Palmer" by Amanda Palmer, "Various Positions" by Leonard Cohen and a recording of The Planets and Elgar's Enigma Variations.) And I don't even feel like I've started yet.

I like physical CDs - don't get me wrong, but I like what's on them more, and if you can charge me less by cutting out the packaging, I'm all for that.
