My lord, I have a cunning plan

Well, as people know, I usually throw a birthday bash on the weekend on/after my birthday. However, this year, it looks as though the British Roleplaying Convention (http://www.consternation.org.uk/) will be running that weekend. Now I know at least some of the people who I would like to come to my birthday will want to go to this, and hell, I think I do too, assuming I can find some crash space in Cambridge.

So therefore I thought I would be terribly cheeky and see if anyone of my Cambridge friends fancied throwing me a birthday BBQ on the afternoon of Sunday 14th August. This way I could do the con, celebrate my aged status, and get to see my Cambridge friends what I don't see all that much in one fell swoop. Cunning, eh?

I'm going to Consternation, mostly to see people, (modulo attending a wedding on Saturday afternoon) and my household is good at barbecues. If Kate is still away for the summer and doesn't mind, I can probably put you up in her room again.
