Today's dose of yoghurty goodness comes with 1/1000th of a cow included. Rachel's Organic (who make yummy yoghurts btw) are donating a cow to needy farmers in Western Kenya - you don't actually have to buy yoghurt to take part, just quote the barcode from their packs (which, I can exclusively* reveal, is 5021638114247). You don't even have to sign up to their spam list, and you might win a free milk jug. (Coo! Amazing!)

Their website is http://www.rachelsorganic.co.uk/sendacow/

Alanis Morisette may be able to turn whining into art, but frankly you aren't interesting enough to pull it off. There better be some more upbeat tracks on the rest of "Under My Skin" or I shall sulk. If I want to be miserable, I'll listen to Pink Floyd.

ETA Fixing this in the last track of the album is somewhat akin to taking the piss, no?

Curses!

As may be apparent from my last post, on the way back from Mirrormask (which did most of the right things yet still somehow left one feeling slightly unsatisfied) I got mugged by HMV. I normally buy off the net these days, but they had lots of stuff in stock that I wanted, including a lot of "The Magnetic Fields" back catalogue and Chumbawamba's "English Rebel Songs" which I've been looking out for for ages. Weirdly the 3 disc edition of "69 love songs" appears to have been re-recorded in 2004, so contains many subtly different versions of the songs as they were on the originals. Since most of the tracks aren't different, I'm a little confused as to why they did that.
