Thanks to everyone who came to the birthday BBQ. I had a lovely day and it was fantastic to see you all.

I'm still trying to find somewhere to eat dinner on Thursday. The Cherwell Boat House looks like it might be a good choice. One day I hope to be rich enough to go here, but those prices are just very silly. Alternative and slightly less stratospherically priced options welcome.

Yeah. With the added problem that if someone else was paying I would feel honour bound to decline the offer.

Gees was lovely, but I wouldn't be averse to trying Manoir some time. In fact the lunchtime three course set meal at is very reasonable at just £45. *8')

Do you think they'd mind us turning up on a motorbike?

For that price, I'd expect them not to bat an eye if we turned up on an elephant.
