How to be a c**t to people who deserve it

I recently bought a small piece of tech (value approx £20) off Ebay. It was flaky when bought, and failed just outside the 45 day Ebay dispute period (joy!). Now the company that sold it to me failed to respond to any of my emails asking for a replacement. The second one explained in detail their obligations under the Sale of Goods Act.

After half an hour's work involving Paypal (look up the transaction receipt, notice the seller owns a domain), whois (lookup domain registration info) and Companies House (yes, they're a real limited company who are still trading - good), I now have all the information necessary for a letter before action.

There is no minimum amount for taking small claims action, and you can claim back the costs from the other party. Is it wrong of me to almost hope they leave it to the point I send the bailiffs to break into their premises over £20?

Nope, not wrong of you. :) People who try to fraud customers (or just don't bother trying to resolve problems) deserve to learn a lesson.
