I borrowed this film from the library on a whim because it looked like it might be interesting. For a film that's trying to be complex and thought provoking it does however seem entirely too straightforward, the conclusion being obvious for most of the film. Of course, on another level, there may have been more to get out of it, and cinematically it was quite lovely. Mostly it just seemed like a trip through someone's subconscious, although it's kind of nice to see these kind of philosophical themes tackled head on in a film.

Possibly no-one reading this has seen the film anyway. Here's the IMDB link: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0222293/

Ladies and gentleman, for your delight and delectation, we proudly present the Richard Sharpe Televisual Interlude drinking game.

For those unfamiliar with the format of such things, the game consists of a list of forfeits which must be taken when the listed event appears on the screen during the showing of any of the nine Sharpe TV movies. If multiple conditions are met at once, all forfeits must be taken cumilatively. The winner is, erm, whoever can stand up and walk home afterwards, or something. A ready supply of booze is required, and participants are expected to recharge empty glasses. Beer would be the tipple most in keeping with the theme, although hard-core drinkers may substitute brandy at their discretiion.

Here are the forfeits )
